Suicide Is not a answer

Yesterday I learned a friend of mine's ex boyfriend took a overdose and died.
Why are so many people taking their own lives? This is never a answer to any
problem. The person who does it, sure they aren't here to deal with anything.
What about the ones who are left? Why can't they think of us,before doing this
horrible thing? I just can't understand how a person gets to that point, and chooses
not to think of how things will be after they are gone. People really do love them
and care for them. I just can't understand it.

Suzy,
Thanks for stopping by my blog - it's good to see you here as well as MMs. I need to read more of your posts, but I love what I see so far.
About your friend...it's so sad to think that someone has lost all hope. My brother in law took his own life 12 years ago - a very sad thing and it took so long for my sister and their girls to recover.
I will pray, my friend, for all who survive - that if they are unable to find answers, God will grant them His peace.
Hugs,
Sue

It is very hard to understand. I try to imagine what they must be sufferin' and how lost they must feel. I too get depressed but I know I can turn it over to the Lord. So when I hear of someone doin' this, I feel very sad for them. They say that suicide is a selfish act. I don't know but with the way it hurts families and loved ones, it makes me wonder if the suicide victim thought of the burden he was puttin' on friends and family.
Very sad. I'm sorry.

I have tagged you. Come over and see.
